Culinary Job Training Program Feb. 24

The Culinary Job Training Program (CJTP) is an eleven-week culinary program taught by a professional chef, a job placement counselor and a case manager. Men and women with severe life challenges are prepared for careers in food service.

Information Session:
Wednesday, February 24th
11:00 am - be prepared to be here for 1-2 hours. No Childcare is available. Please plan accordingly.

Program Requirements
• At least 18 years of age
• Either unemployed or underemployed
• Provide one written reference letter
• 90 days clean and sober before first day of class
• Reading at a middle school level (or above) and in possession of basic math skills
• Willing to sepnd one full day (8 hours) volunteering at IFFS prior to the start of class
• Available to be in class from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
• Willing to take random drug tests throughout the session
• Curious, ready to learn and willing to do homework
• Must be interested in a career in food service

New Class is scheduled to begin in April at the 1001 Blair Drive Location. At the information session you will meet the Director of Programs, receive detailed information, complete an application and interview for the program.
