On Saturday February 13 college financial aid officers and other volunteers will be available to help students complete their free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms. The program is open to students who plan to attend college in the 2010-11 academic year and will be held at more than 100 sites across North Carolina.

This class will provide hands-on instruction to create a working web site plus a blog that you can maintain yourself (students should have working knowledge of the internet). There are three parts to the class:

Attorney Juan Flores will lead this informative program on Social Security Disability Dec. 5 from 2-3 p.m. at Cameron Village Library, 1930 Clark Avenue, Raleigh. Flores received his law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. His experience includes working for 12 years as an Attorney Advisor with the Social Security Administration. Flores has also worked for several years in private practice representing individuals who have applied for Social Security Disability.
